I planned to write up an article about cold calls and solicitation by outsourcing (augmented resources) agencies, but one of the cases topped the list, and I had to make a separate post on it.
One such email message reached me via a business account. Among a typical sales pitch and a bundle of keywords and assumptions was a great phraseological combination: “custom SaaS developers.”
Let’s face it: if that was a marketing trick, it worked. I did read the message to understand it better. There was nothing special in there, and that got me thinking in the world where the U.S. IT market just lost over 6% of positions in 2023 with thousands more to be laid off, what can that mean – to be a custom SaaS developer?
Do they alter them to possess four hands to work on two keyboards simultaneously? One pair is for coding, and the other is for updating tickets or writing documentation (Ah, burn!).
