Let me tell you a story. The year was 2007, and as the President of the #DeepCity (The reference is the “DEEP TOWN,” a SciFi virtual reality city), we pioneered private cloud hosting. The company started and succeeded in private cloud and managed services long before the sharks of the red ocean swam into the market.

The technology finally allowed us to render a competitive, compliant service. Our primary target for the customer group was small to mid-size organizations. In 2007-2009 we knocked on every medical office, real estate office, hedge fund, car service, and law organization’s doors.

One of the most significant battles for us was not the technical aspect of the sales but a psychological one. We were living through convincing potential customers that there are better approaches than running a single 5-year-old DELL/COMPAQ pc as a server in the closet. It is much safer to let us provide these services through our infrastructure. It was a revolution of minds, which led to small clients obtaining Enterprise level services.

By 2010 the word #cloud became everyday jargon. It was well marketed and used by industry people anywhere they could fill it in. For the technology company challenging the #legacy approach, it was a battle for the hearts and minds of customers.

Vehiko.com made its first appearance in 2013, ever since the company dreamt of evolving the #legacy car sales industry to the #ecomerce generation, simplifying the process in every aspect to a relaxed, “business as usual” manner for all parties involved. The new version of the platform started its battle for the hearts and minds of car #buyers and #dealers in July 2022. Our release in May 2023 introduced a high-value feature search unique to the industry, allowing one to pick the car by key #features , unlike the classical vehicle designer approach. We work on the intelligent #ai advisor, which we look forward to introducing in the following platform version.
